We shared the water with the local paddlers who were first in the water every morning. A lot of demos and test paddling of new and used boats. Lots of used boats for sale... and a bit of test paddling and dickering. Dave Curtis and Company had their fleet of beautiful Hemlock Canoes there to demo. Dave also gave the group a great talk on the the origins of today's solo canoe manufacturing. The Savage River Fleet of demos.
